Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• "Yebo" refers to the platform operator and its affiliates.
• "User" refers to any individual or business using the Platform.
• "Merchant" refers to spaza shops, vendors, or businesses selling goods/services on Yebo.
• "Customer" refers to end-users purchasing goods/services.
• "Field Agent" refers to individuals performing deliveries, inspections, or services.
• "Wallet" refers to the digital stored-value system within Yebo.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. Businesses must be duly registered or operating legally within their jurisdiction.

3. Platform Overview

Yebo provides:

• A marketplace connecting Customers and Merchants
• A digital wallet for payments and stored value
• Field service tools for logistics, inspections, and fulfillment
• Marketing and commerce enablement tools

Yebo acts as a facilitator and is not the owner of goods sold by Merchants unless explicitly stated.

4. Account Registration

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

Yebo may suspend or terminate accounts suspected of fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

5. Yebo Wallet

5.1 Wallet Usage

• The Wallet allows you to store value, send payments, and pay for goods/services.
• Funds in the Wallet are not bank deposits unless otherwise specified.

5.2 Loading Funds

Funds may be loaded via approved channels (cash-in agents, EFT, cards, etc.)

5.3 Transactions

• All transactions are final unless otherwise required by law.
• Yebo may impose transaction limits for compliance and security.

5.4 Compliance

• Users may be required to complete identity verification (KYC).
• Suspicious transactions may be delayed, reversed, or reported.

6. Marketplace Terms

6.1 Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants agree to:

• Provide accurate product listings and pricing
• Fulfill orders in a timely manner
• Comply with health, safety, and trading regulations

6.2 Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate delivery information
• Pay for orders in full

6.3 Pricing & Availability

• Prices are set by Merchants and may change without notice
• Availability is not guaranteed

6.4 Disputes

Yebo may assist in resolving disputes but is not liable for Merchant conduct.

7. Field Services

7.1 Scope

Field Agents may perform:

• Deliveries
• Inspections
• Installations

7.2 Responsibilities

• Field Agents operate as independent contractors unless stated otherwise
• Users must ensure safe access to premises

7.3 Liability

Yebo is not liable for delays caused by:

• Weather
• Safety risks
• Incorrect location information

8. Fees & Payments

• Yebo may charge service, transaction, or platform fees
• Fees will be disclosed where applicable
• Merchants may be charged commission on sales

9. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use the Platform for illegal activities
• Engage in fraud or money laundering
• Interfere with system integrity
• Abuse Field Agents or other Users

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Termination

Yebo may suspend or terminate access:

• For violations of these Terms
• To comply with legal obligations

Users may stop using the Platform at any time.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Yebo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• Yebo does not guarantee uninterrupted service

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Yebo against claims arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your breach of these Terms

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.

15. Changes to Terms

Yebo may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
