For the customer, using Yebo Fresh means avoiding the hassle, cost and risk of overcrowded and/or expensive transport, long queues, and carrying heavy bulk goods. For FMCGs, working with Yebo Fresh means direct access into the mass market and a great partnership for direct deliveries, customer insights, product testing, POS marketing etc.
Position: Sales Representative(JHB)
Locations: Soweto, Tskane, Daveyton, Kwa Thema and Thembisa
The Yebo Fresh Sales Representative is responsible for the Core Customer Channel, your role is to manage this channel and ensure its continued growth and development.
Key Role Responsibilities and Duties:
It is your responsibility to build and maintain conditions that make service excellence and delivery possible, worthwhile, and profitable.
You will be focusing on the Spaza and Township Fast Food market channel, affinity and experience with this channel is compulsory.
You are required to create a friendly, customer-oriented service culture to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business, which in turn, will increase revenue and profitability of Yebo Fresh.
Co-develop and support continuous improvement of our customer offerings to match market demands.
Co-develop and run marketing initiatives and activations.
Build strong ties with the local communities and develop local partnerships.
Skills needed to fulfill the role:
5+ years of demonstrated successful experience in a Sales field market or similar position is required.
Affinity and experience with Townships and spazas is compulsory.
Affinity and experience owning or working in restaurants(chesanyama)
Must be able to speak Xhosa and English fluently to engage with our customers and all levels of the organization clearly and comfortably – the ability to speak an additional language is an advantage.
You must have a deep understanding of township dynamics and be fully comfortable operating in a township environment, as you will be spending a lot of time on the ground.
A valid driver’s license and (access to) a car.
A background in FMCG, food or retail is compulsory.
An understanding and experience with digital / online marketing and sales is advantageous.
You must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make decisions quickly and effectively, as well as the ability to process information clearly
Systematically choose and map the target market.
Define a sales strategy.
Drive awareness, trial, conversion and customer loyalty.
Gather key insights and feed them back into the organization to keep improving the customer offer and sales strategy.
Measure and report results, delivering on agreed sales targets.
Occasionally, develop and run special sales-oriented projects.
